Hobbs & Meyer Farm — McElmo Canyon, near Cortez, CO
Hobbs & Meyer Farm is a family-owned, certified organic farm in McElmo Canyon near Cortez, Colorado, growing heritage and climate-resilient grains, garlic, legumes, vegetables, and open-pollinated seeds. Led by farmers Dan Hobbs and Nanna Meyer, the farm focuses on regenerative practices, seed stewardship, and biodiversity, producing flavorful grains that support resilient agriculture and vibrant regional food systems.
Pueblo White Wheat
An ancient Southwestern landrace brought to Colorado by Spanish settlers in the 1600s, Pueblo White is deeply adapted to the arid high desert climate. It produces a flour with soft sweetness, gentle nuttiness, and exceptional smoothness, creating pastas that are delicate, aromatic, and comforting.
